Two Step Authentication

My question is: at level 57 and hoping to get to at least 70, what would you guys recommend in terms of equipment to RS gold use and which do I need to work on? I've nearly 1m of money in my bank (the dramatic fall of the Abyssal Whip did me no favors!) and if I decide to sell my current range of gear I'd likely have around 1.2m.

I'm currently training with pyrefiends, and am using the above gear: Archer's helm/Helm of Neitiznot, blue d'hide body, blue d'hide chaps blue d'hide vambraces Ava's Accumulator, dragon boots amulet of Glory, mithril and magical shortbows. Also probably worth noting as I have above my ranged levels are currently 57 (not far from 58) and my defense level is 64. Any suggestions on the right gear to use, which weapons to employ and which you can train on would be much appreciated!

So, i went back to Runescape this morning, only to find that everything has changed by ALOT, Mages have the same amount of armor and HP. In addition, they have Meleers are equipped with skills, a bar and a lot more, which left me with some questions that i require assistance with:

What are the most suitable boots for Melee? ( After a great deal of research, i found out that highest stats are on Mage's batwing boots, are there better boots?, and are there any consequences for wearing them in melee?)

Why should I wear rune gloves even though Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves are the same, however are much less expensive? What's the point of wearing rune armor in the first place? ( Except for Vs Ranged) Is it me or the new changes made Melee the PVP's new underdog? Can someone who plays Melee be quite proficient in pk? ( and what is the most effective set to play it?) Do you think your Amulet of Str now useless? ( I'm still not understanding the whole critique thing) thank you so much for taking the time to read my concerns.

Therefore, I am creating my next list of Adventures to add to my next log. I'm not sure at this time what I am really looking to accomplish. I'd like to steer clear of "getting that 99!" because I'm not my type haha. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.

One thing I am certain concerning is divination. I'm not keen on it, however I must train for to at least some...I would like to keep it off until they come up with better experience training strategies for it. (I'm thinking that 48-70 would be the ideal goal in the present)

Another Adventure I'm a bit keen to try is these new instanced boss fights * KK, etc) even if it's just on the simplest current level. Another thing I've been lazy about but that I'd like to buy Runescape gold do is 110 dungeoneering ( more like 105ish at this moment? ) This could take me for a while since I'm played by myself.
