In 2005, the majority of servers were 60/40 Alliance. As for why I'm of the opinion that the playerbase was more casual and WOW Classic TBC Gold innocent at the time (aka was more interested in the fantasy of characters more than they did meta-games for pvp) People favored alliance more because it was more relatable, and they wanted to be heroic pretty good guys, like in Lord of the Rings. It was much easier to be a monster "bad guy" or a zombie than it was to be a fan of that. However, I do remember that will of the forsaken was major, as was the horde was more focused on pvp. It wasn't that big of a deal. It was well-known that horde had superior pvp racials, it didn't really matter.
It's probably much better with TBC and more zones, however in the past, classic PvP in open world, leveling and PvP with open world was a total challenge for Alliance on servers for PVP. There's no reason to allow meta players (majority but not all) to play Alliance in horde vs. horde queues.
This truly feels like an act of disrespect towards my time spent after I've spent many hours playing the alliance characters on servers. This will result in the dominance of the horde in all pvp realms. Alliance isn't possible in an open world. This is evident from the classicwow subreddits' reaction. Wow is dead , and the player base is complete garbage.
Players and developers transform traditional into cheap WOW TBC Gold retail, the gg.
