Tim Morten (production director): "Yeah WOTLK Gold , there's no precise formula, of course. There's a balance for us between truly appreciating our gamers we've got. As you're aware, recently we unveiled a remaster version of Starcraft 1. and many gamers are still playing the game, which is now nearly twenty years old. The year next year will mark its 20th anniversary. This is why we are determined to provide support to the player base. And Starcraft II has had this incredibly stable player base that we'd like to continue to service as well.
"I believe that the industry in general has evolved to the point that we continue to serve players for longer than a single title, and then letting players immerse themselves within the global. From a design perspective we have the chance to iterate and enhance the user experience, add new content, add new features. We don't have an exact date for transition, but we do know we've got an extremely passionate audience that we want to keep bringing content to."
John Hight (production director): "I think we've been fortunate to have dedicated fans for over 13 years. There is always new content coming out, so it's actually been quite a dramatic development of the game. There will be the chance to see this happen not too far in the near future, with Classic coming out. But, let's take a look back at where we were when we first launched WoW to where we are today and what we'll be doing with Battle for Azeroth.
"If you only glanced at these two points, you could conclude the following: Battle for Azeroth is the sequel. It's called 'WoW 2'.' The evolution has happened over the course of 13 years. The problem is that since it's happened in bits and pieces, I'm not certain that most people know how the world has changed. How far the view in the game has changed, the resolution available as well as the visual fidelity the characters have each of them has gone high-resolution.
The spell effects that we've added and the combat mechanics have changed across all classes; the way the interface has changed. To be better or worse you have to relearn an element of it each time and we're working hard to make it a more manageable and a bit more fun to really take on your game and gain mastery over it.
"And the storytelling we provide--in Legion alone, we had more voiceover than any of our previous expansions, and in many cases more than two or three expansions. This is a huge amount of voiceover, and we're gonna continue to perform that since we enjoy the depth and richness it gives to the story.
"We are able to think of a million things we'd like to accomplish by playing the game. it's a fantastic field to come up with new ideas, new stories as well as new features. Here's where we are. It's all about how much we want to buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold achieve right now , versus what we'll achieve in the near future?"
