Visit NPCs and merchants. Numerous islands house both NPCs and merchants. The latter have their own unique rewards Don't leave until you've checked out.

Collect cheap Lost Ark Gold Seeds. Yes, there are little buggers in the Lost Ark islands as well. Since the maps are small, there are usually between two to five Seeds on each island.
