Recently, parts of the southern Philippines were hit by really strong earthquakes. Imagine a huge shaking that made many people scared, especially when there was a warning that big waves might come after it.
Thankfully, those big waves didn't happen, which was a huge relief. But sadly, some bad things did happen. Buildings fell down, and some people got hurt really badly. A shopping mall ceiling collapsed, and it hurt lots of people.
Despite these scary moments, people in the Philippines showed how strong they are. They helped each other, especially those who got hurt. The police and others who help during emergencies acted fast to make things better.
Even though it's sad about the people who got hurt or lost their lives, the Filipino spirit is shining. They're coming together, helping each other, and staying strong. They'll work together to fix things and keep going, showing how tough they are even when nature makes things hard.
