Now, it also adds a new Blunderbuss weapon and an MMO with endless balance changes.

The expansion continues the New World storyline with a new expedition called Heart of the Storm, in which players chase Isabella, a once-explorer turned big bad into another version of the capital of Myrkgard. Isabella is a fallen (probably fallen) boss monster.

The Tempest's Heart is an endgame expedition designed for five players, and you'll need to reach level 60 and a Gearscore of 550+ to take it.

While the rest of the update is less dramatic, the new large-caliber gun (seen in the video above) is a new weapon designed for close-to-mid-range combat. Its power also scales with the player's Strength and Intelligence stats, "making it a great companion for a bruiser or mage," says a blog post about the update.
