Although the release time of the New World has been delayed, there are still many players who choose to enter this game, which does not affect our love of this game. Now the New World has been released for half a month, and yesterday Amazon Games released the latest update of this game.
Patch 1.0.2 changes the balance between factions, fixes some bugs, and, according to the developers, "lays the foundation for the transfer function between incoming servers".
The long-awaited server transfers, which Amazon initially promised for last week, were postponed to the following week (which theoretically would be this one). However, since today is Thursday and we still don't have a shred of date, we wouldn't be surprised if they were postponed once again.
As for the balance, in the disputed territories between two sides the amount of influence gained over time by attackers has been reduced, while the gradual reduction of influence for the defending factions has been removed.
To ignite the spirits, however, was once again the management of the game servers by Amazon Games. Yesterday's downtime was supposed to last around five hours, from 12 pm to 5 pm. However, due to technical problems, maintenance took much longer than expected, especially for the European servers, which came back online only a few hours ago, late in the evening. This has angered many European users, given that the afternoon and even more so the early evening are notoriously peak times to play (the so-called "prime time").
In this regard, it is perplexing that Amazon Games has not yet thought of a different maintenance schedule depending on the continent, a time that at the moment favors American players as if the European ones were series B customers.
Meanwhile, Amazon has also made available the second Pirate Pack, redeemable for free for all Prime Gaming customers (formerly known as Twitch Prime). The package includes a pirate sword skin, three badges, and the exclusive Tagliagola emote.
