However, it's not a bad idea to turn our minds back to the best PC games from 2022. As Christmas is drawing towards a close and fireworks can be seen on the horizon we've decided to take the liberty of compiling some of the year's most important news events in one place - after all, what's not to love with a touch of nostalgia?
Some of the biggest developments to be announced in January was the announcement from Blizzard Entertainment that the creation of a brand-new game inside the "all all-new universe" is in the works adding another string to the Diablo and WoW creator's bow metaphor.
It wasn't alone in announcing something brand spanking new however, as Apex Legends creator Respawn Entertainment also revealed that they are working on a triple-A shooter. For the ultimate reward gamers who play turn-based games received news of the creation of a new studio run by the Doom and XCOM developers, who have united to bring more strategy to this ever-growing genre.
The highlight of February was of course, Elden Ring. It was hailed as one of the best FromSoftware games ever, the RPG game rocketed to the top of cheap Diablo 4 Gold the charts, requiring players from across the globe to restore the titular item.
