In such a time as this, God's people stood up to pray to turn the tide. It is time for us to rise up, join hearts and ask God to bring healing in the nations and the people affected by the virus. During this season of Lent, leading up to Easter, let us pray for the following:
1. For the containment, eradication of the virus and the healing of people affected globally.
2. For the first responders, medical and government personnel, to work together in unity to end this virus and treat those who are affected. In such a time as this, may the best of humanity shine, to work together to contain and end the virus.
3. For the people to respond not in fear and panic, but with wisdom, common sense, and selfless love for the other. Again, may the best of humanity shine to bring us together to respond properly to this crisis.
4. May God send a Spirit of revival and renewal to our nations. As the Bible says "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." The promise is that if we humble ourselves before God and seek Him, He will bring a wind of healing in our land. No matter how chaotic the Corona virus seems, God is sovereign and can change the situation in a single day. Let's seek not only for physical healing from the virus, but a spiritual renewal and healing of our nation.
