Better SP

Better SP offers a whole host of quality of life improvements such as increased inventory and inventory size, faster movement, and less stamina drain. Books, keys, arrows, and bolts have higher stack limits, higher mana regen, Horadric Cube recipes respect tokens and opening items without missing gems, higher max skill levels, changing secret cow levels, and more.

Enemy Multiplier

If you want to increase the number of enemies spawned, this is the mod for you. Each file multiplies the number of enemies spawned so you can get XP, gold, and other items from them. Just make sure you're ready before you start adding groups.

DR2 Drop Mod

If you find yourself struggling with RNG, this mod might be your answer. It significantly increases the drop rate of set, unique, and rare items, and allows higher runes to drop more frequently. You will still be at the mercy of the RNG Gods, but you will have more chances to get the drops you are looking for.

Single Player Charm Save

This mod adds various aura and spell-like little charms. Each will increase magic discovery and experience bonuses, as well as paladin aura or other class buffs. These charms should help you out and give you some of the benefits you'll get if you play online in a group scene.

Expanded Storage (with Merc Equip)

Storage can be a real problem in Diablo 2, but it's a nice stand-alone if you don't want to include other things in more complicated addons and prefer SP. It increases inventory (10x8) to stash (16*13) and cube (16*13), so you'll get more space to store all your d2r ladder items.
