NBA 2K20 is arguably the worst installment in 2K22 MT the series since NBA 2K8. There was very little innovation in the game's gameplay. It seemed like the creators used NBA 2K19, slapped a bunch of paint on the game, and then launched the game as NBA 2K20. The only major change to the game was the quantity of advertisements which were displayed over MyCareer and the Park. I believe that NBA 2K could produce an excellent game. The issues to be resolved are not too significant. All the changes suggested will make the game better as an entire. 2K is a solid foundation however the game could use some refinement.

Player Likenesses - Classic teams have been part of 2K since. There have been a few issues with the classic teams over the years, however there is a massive issue with the licensing of player likenesses. NBA 2K must pay a fee to a retired player each year in order to have the right to use their image within the game. Most players will allow their image to be used in the game. In most cases, 2K has not come to satisfactory financial terms with the player concerned. This means that classic teams generally lack the essential elements that make them unique.

The Seven Seconds or Fewer Suns are perfect examples of incompleteness. Joe Johnson is not on the team. Johnson was an important scoring option for Phoenix and averaged 17.1 points per game with the Suns.
