Obviously players that were in actual cutting-edge PvE guilds, or PvPers that REALLY were looking to WOW Classic TBC Gold gain every advantage they could get would take advantage of that, but they were a mere 0.1% or less of the player base.
For the rest of us, this wasn't a concern. It might have seemed like more if you actually were part of this group of people.
Ask yourself this question: Which WoW vanilla player would you prefer? The beautiful night elf, or the ugly orc? If you are able to recall where the Bloodelves were set to balance everything it is easy to answer.
Yes, in 2005 the majority of servers seemed to be about 60/40 Alliance. In terms of why I believe that the player base was more innocent and casual at the time (aka was more interested in character fantasy more than researching pvp meta) People favored alliance as it was more relatable, and they were hoping to be heroic good guys, like in Lord of the Rings. It was more easy to be an unnatural "bad guy" or buy WOW TBC Gold a zombie than it was to desire this. However, I do remember that will of the forsaken was an issue, and Horde being more pvp-focused. It wasn't a big deal. The general consensus was that horde had better pvp racials but it wasn't a big deal.
