To gain access to the Echoing Nightmare, players need to have obtained the Petrified Scream from a Greater Rift Guardian and transmute the scream in Kanai's Cube to gain access to the Echoing Nightmare.
The announcement that the Echoing Nightmare will be sticking around for the duration of time comes on Diablo's 10th anniversary. Blizzard are also celebrating with a double bounty event which will last until final day of Season 26. After having completed five bounty events in any Act.
The players will be awarded an increase of twice the number of Horadric Caches as normal. Blizzard has not yet announced when Season 26 will end, however, previous seasons have usually last between 17 and 18 weeks. Season 26 started with the 15th of April.

Diablo IV, on the other hand, does not have an official date for release. The game's director was fired last year amid the ongoing controversy concerning a California state of California lawsuit accusing Activision Blizzard of fostering an alleged culture of harassment and discrimination against women.
