The topics they discussed: Wilson kicked off WoTLK Gold the discussion by declaring his announcement that World of Warcraft will include the new difficulty mode Inferno which will take over Hell as the most challenging mode available in the game. Inferno was designed in order to test players of level 60 (the maximum level of World of Warcraft) by putting them up against level 61 foes. It also "flattens the game," as Wilson described it, by making everything--specifically all the difficulty-restricted loot--available for your character to find.
All this new and shiny equipment won't just be recycled items of low-level also. Wilson said the team's design has been hard at work to come up with new artwork for all Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno-level equipment. When playing on these more difficult settings also makes enemies harder to defeat and "more intriguing." In addition, enemies with higher levels be more healthy and can cause greater damage. This increases the level of aggression they have. They are looking for ways to take out players, and may even use the new monster powers that are exclusive in these mode.
In the end, Wilson hopes the end-game content of World of Warcraft will keep more players interested for longer than World of Warcraft.
Ebbert followed and recapped a lot of details that were already available concerning Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm. The presentation included a quick overview of the story of the expansion (spoiler announcement: Kerrigan is back! ) as well as explaining the Battle Focus system and also the possibility for players to upgrade and develop Zerg units. The official also said that the Heart of the Swarm campaign Heart of the Swarm will include 20 missions, and will also include new multiplayer units and maps. Chilton was third in line with an outline of the forthcoming World of Warcraft v4.3 patch. This patch will introduce the brand-new Deathwing raid, with an epic final battle against the huge dragon. Chilton has been quick to point out that it will be "the most thrilling encounter we've had," adding that players will, for a portion of the battle, fight on top of WOW WoTLK Classic Gold Deathwing's back while it glides across the sky.
