I'm currently training on pyrefiends making use of RuneScape Gold the following equipment: Archer helm/Helm of Neitiznot blue D'hide body, blue D'hide chaps, blue d'hide vambraces, Ava's Accumulator amulet of glory mithril and magic shortbows. Also probably worth noting as I've noted above that my ranged level is currently at 57 (not much further than an 58) and my defence score is 64. Any suggestions on the right gear to put on, which weapons to choose and what you can train on would be greatly appreciated!
So, i went back to Runescape today, just to realize everything has changed by ALOT, Mages are as armored and Hp. As Meleers are equipped with skills, a bar, and so on which has left me with a few questions I require help with:
What are the best boots to wear for Melee? ( After lots of investigation, I found that highest stats are on Mage's batwings, are there better boots? do there are any consequences to wearing them as a melee?)
Why should i put on rune gloves when Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves have the same statistics however are much less expensive? Why should I wear rune armor in the first place!? ( With the exception of Vs Ranged) Do I have it wrong or did the latest changes make Melee the new underdog in pvp? Does someone who plays Melee perform quite well? ( and what's the best setup for him to do that) Do you think an Amulet of Str useless now? ( I'm not sure of the whole thing about crits) Thank you for taking the time to look over my concerns.
Therefore, I am creating a new list of Adventures for my next skill log. I'm not sure at the present moment about RS 3 Gold what I want to pursue. I'm hoping to avoid "getting the 99!" cause well I am just not like that haha. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.
