Jagex believes that the survival of Runescape will be RS gold assured by its ability to change to mimic all MMOs. An interesting variation on adapt or die. Jmods are restricted in who and how they communicate with. It's a matter of time, they can only speak to a limited amount of people daily. A majority of Jmods only have a limited number of players that they can communicate with. These relationships will be established over time, and basically they'll be "Yes!" groups to whatever the Jmod suggests. Fmods (some disguised Jmods) are responsible for ending any dissent on forums.
Jagex must adjust to the new realities. Fmods are to be eliminated and Fmods made an appearance in Jagex. Professional standards are required. Fmods must stop calling players "you guys" and the like. Fmods have destroyed some sections of the forums.
The second is to update the forums with more voice and more choice. Users can block other users and have access to other tools, and can create networks within forums. The RS forums are as adaptable as Facebook. This allows for easy grouping. Jagex has created a number of obscure forums that have made the forums rigid and polluted them.
Create a player council, and let the players vote to elect 12 players who will decide the frequency of updates from budget. It will be a small one, with a budget of around 900k annually. Facebook and Twitter can be used to facilitate dialogue between users.
This will prevent the next few years from repeating the mistakes of 2012. Jagex didn't listen to players in 2012. Jagex's statements that 90% of players love SoF and 80% like EoC are just plain silly were just one example. It's either adapt or die. Talking does a better job however, the time is are running out. Tick Tock Jagex.
EOC is something that I am a huge supporter of. The gaming industry is always evolving. If you think back to 13 years ago when runescape was launched, then think about the advances in technology and gaming over the past thirteen years.
Consider how many Runescape players, myself included, have left to play in other MMORPGs that have an action bar system similar to that. Yes, World of Warcraft. While I'm not saying that Runescape should be more like WOW, not at all, but most moos today follow cheap RuneScape gold the EOC-style of HCI. What is the reason for this?
