One of the elements that is part of D2R Items that is confirmed to be returning are the limited-time Seasons. These are post-game items of content that alter the way legendary items work and remix the contents of the base game giving replayability to the game that's already incredibly replayable. Seasons were featured in significant amounts times in Diablo 3, so we're hoping they'll also be the main focus of Diablo 4.
The seasonal nature of the game will also set Diablo 4 up to be another irresistible Game Pass game, should the merger eventually close. A game such as Diablo featuring solid gameplay is perfect for a service specifically designed to allow gamers to return to live games after a couple of months. However it's a bit of a gamble, as the game is scheduled to be released in June and the battle for an upcoming future for Activision still well underway this is one game that is very unlikely to receive an Game Pass treatment on day one, unless something substantial happens to it.
If we were betting, we'd wager that the aim in buy D2R Ladder Items, is when the game is finally released people in the community that were outraged and justly so, about Diablo Immortal relax and contemplate "oh it's Diablo."
